三王岩（さんのういわ）は岩手県宮古市にある海岸景勝地で、三陸復興国立公園内の奇岩でも最も迫力のある巨岩と言われています。厳冬期に海面に湧き上がる朝霧「気嵐」、そして感動的なご来光を撮影してきました。
撮影当日は、写真歴40年の私が見た気嵐の中で、最高レベルの絶景となりました。夜明け前のマジックアワー、水墨画の世界のような気嵐、そして希望を感じるご来光をお楽しみ下さい。（旅人・風景写真家 五島健司）
近くには「道の駅たろう」「震災遺構 たろう観光ホテル」があります。三王岩は、天の川の撮影地として知られています。
San-no-Iwa is a coastal scenic spot in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, and is said to be one of the most powerful giant rocks in the Sanriku-Fukko National Park. I have photographed the morning mist 「Kearashi」 that rises to the surface of the sea during the severe winter season, and the impressive sunrise.
